Many buyers have a dream of living in the country. Before you invite any REALTOR or potential buyer to see your acreage, make sure you have tidied up and organized the property. It is important that you present your acreage in the best light to prospective buyers.  

Here are some tips to make your acreage look presentable:

• Declutter by removing and storing all the non-essential out door equipment
• If there is fencing, make sure it is in good repair
• If there is a barn, make sure it’s cleaned out! Sweep the aisle and add fresh bedding in the stalls
• Mowing and trim the lawn. If there are paddocks and pastures, make sure they are presentable as well, mow and trim them as necessary
• Repair any damage to outbuildings
• Keep all the tools and equipment in their designated locations
• Clear access paths to the pastures, arena, and barn
• Till the vegetable garden if there is one
• harrow the driveway – and the outdoor riding arena if there is one
